Meets my needs

I purchased this battery to replace a different branded one. I've only had it a few weeks and it's intended only for intermittent use, but so far I'm happy with it. Very well packaged and quick shipping too.

Very satisfied

Chrome has a great selection, good prices, and very fast shipping. These 12v sealed batteries fit all my security systems and electric gate openers and perform longer than most.

Fantastic Performance Over Time!

Bought some of these a couple years ago to rebuild a battery tray for a long-dead, abandoned UPS unit. While that UPS company went through great efforts to make the rebuilding difficult via permanent-type adhesive, it was able to be done with some time and care. The end result was having a pack that brought the unit back to life and had a higher AH rating than the factory-provided batteries for a substantially lower price. Based on my order date, I've had them in service for over two years now. I've seen about 5% greater runtime than the factory specs for the load I have on the UPS. There have indeed been many load-cycles on the unit from bad line supply conditions and a few power outages. At this two-year mark, I'm very confident that this batteries will continue to provide service up to the 4 year target replacement, and still would be useful for non-critical circuits for another year or two.

What actually prompted me to write the review was I've just had two more dead, abandoned UPS units dropped on me that testing has shown they just have dead batteries. With them being the exact same battery type, re-ordering this battery for both units was my natural first pick. I'm not sure what's better: having these high-quality batteries available at a good price just across town (Chrome Battery is local to me), or having acquaintances that don't seem to grasp that UPS units can have their batteries replaced for a fraction of the cost of buying a new unit...
